Smartphones and WiFi

I think it’s an easy concept to understand. If you abuse and damage the iPhone, it’s not surprising when the WiFi starts to flake out or frequently fail on you. Leaving it outside of its Otterbox (despite your frequent promises to keep it in them at all times), throwing it, dropping it on the floor, intentionally banging its edges against hard surfaces like solid wooden desks or laminate tables is NOT the proper way to take care of it.

Review the Apple video explaining how they designed the iPhone and you’ll notice the wires go alongside the inside perimeter of the device of its chassis. That allows for better reception.

Consumer Electronics like smart phones, despite their awesome technology, is sensitive electronics. Slam it against something and something’s liable to break. If any part of its insides for example were subject to static electricity it could literally damage one or more components.

Solution: Get an old-school phone instead of a smartphone from here on out. It is great for making and receiving phone calls, and you’re less likely to be distracted by it when people are speaking to you. Get the kind with a flip cover and you’ve got protection for the glass LCD screen. Get a TracFone and you’ve got pay-as-you-go coverage. Bahdahbing-bahdaboom!
